Our Dahlia Guarantee

We guarantee healthy tubers and cuttings upon receipt, and that every tuber will have at least one eye when it is picked up or shipped and that every cutting will have healthy roots when pick up. Tubers are all shapes and sizes, they can be hard and firm or a bit soft and wrinkly, as long as they eye up they will grow into a beautiful dahlia plant. You are purchasing one viable tuber when placing an order.

That said, some varieties produce less eyes in general and others take longer to eye up. This becomes complicated as all tubers in an order need to be shipped out at the same time, usually as early as possible. Therefore some may be less developed, please be patient. If the eye is not pronounced or the tuber is a little soft you may be asked to pot up or plant your tuber so it is covered (with very little moisture) and wait for growth for a few weeks prior to refund. Please check your tubers upon receiving them, and contact us if you have any questions or concerns. Please include your order number and a photo of your tuber in question. If a tuber does not produce eyes a refund will be issued.

Returns and Refunds

We offer a one-week window from the date you receive your order for any concerns or issues to be noted regarding the received items. Generally we are unable to offer refunds on our tubers or cuttings once they have been planted outside. Please send us an email stating the issue of concern prior to planting with a photo. That said, we are reasonable, please reach out to us with any concerns you might have. Our quantities are limited so replacements will not always be available.

This is our first year shipping cuttings, and will be learning through the process. We ask that you remove any damaged foliage from shipping, repot your cutting and feed it and give it a few days to adjust prior to planting it outside or contacting us with your concerns. Generally dahlias are resilient and will bounce back from their shipping experience.
